To minimize any potential prescription errors, and to maintain the highest efficiency, most new and refill prescriptions will be issued during office visits only. If you are on prescription medications, it is your responsibility to know if a renewal is needed at each and every office visit. With our computerized electronic medical record system, we will assist you wherever possible. If you would like a printout of your medications, please ask.
We do not issue medication adjustments over the phone, unless serious side effects are occurring. We do not issue antibiotics over the phone for acute illnesses. You must call to schedule an appointment so you may be evaluated appropriately.
You will be charged a small fee for any prescriptions that you lose and need to be reissued or should you change pharmacies and need prescriptions reissued to resubmit.
